Dear Distinguished Delegates, Faculty Members, and Partners,

My name is Harvi Karatha, and I am honoured to be serving as your Secretary General for the 19th iteration of the University of Toronto Model United Nations Conference. Having started my own Model UN journey as a UTMUN delegate, it feels incredibly meaningful to now lead the conference that first sparked my own journey. Over the years, staffing at UTMUN as a Vice Director, Equity Director, and Under-Secretary General of External Affairs has shown me the limitless potential of this precious conference. On behalf of our extraordinary Secretariat and incredible Staff, I am confident in welcoming you to a UTMUN 2026 experience that will continue to redefine and push the bounds on what we have historically offered.
