Financial Aid Program
No one should miss
UTMUN over cost.
The Financial Aid Program makes sure that cost is never the reason a delegate can't take part in UTMUN.
Eligible delegates can receive fifty to one hundred percent off registration, depending on their application.
Why we offer it +
Financial circumstances shouldn't decide who gets to debate, represent their country, or benefit from the UTMUN experience. Financial aid lets us support delegates with genuine need.
Who it's for +
Delegates facing financial barriers that make registration difficult or impossible. We'll ask about:
- Your current financial situation
- Why you require financial assistance
- Which conference-related costs you need help with
- Any additional circumstances for the Equity Team to consider
How applications are reviewed +
Case-by-case, based on the information you provide and your demonstrated need. We may occasionally request supporting documentation. Submitting an application does not guarantee assistance.
If you're approved +
You'll receive a single-use coupon code by email covering 50–100% of your registration fee. We keep the process as accessible, respectful, and confidential as possible.
Financial aid is a separate step from registration — complete this form and wait to hear back from the Equity Team before you register. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis; please allow up to seven business days for a reply from equity@utmun.ca.
