2026-2027 Secretariat applications are open

Thinking of joining the 2027 Secretariat? We are looking for driven, creative, and dedicated individuals to lead our largest conference yet. You will work with the 2027 Secretariat for a 1-year term starting May 2026 and be major part of a conference that is staffed by over 250 Universtiy of Toronto Students. To be eligible, you must be a University of Toronto student. For more details, read the position descriptions below. Please note all positions are unpaid.

SECRETARIAT BREAKDOWN

The Secretariat is comprised of two different Teams: The Executive Team and the Directors' Team.

The Executive Team is and is consisted of 5 seats. These positions are:

Secretary-General

Under Secretary-General, Academic

Under Secretary-General, External

Under Secretary-General, Finance

Under Secretary-General, Internal

The Directors' Team consists of 20 members and is hired by the Executive Board. The Directors' Team positions are:

EXTERNAL BRANCH

  • Chargé(e) D'Affaires (2)

  • Director of Communications (1)

  • Director of Visual Strategy (1)

  • Director of Design and Branding (2)

  • Director of Community Relationships (1)

ACADEMICS BRANCH

  • Chief of Staff (2)

  • Director of General Assemblies (2)

  • Director of ECOSOC & Regional Bodies (2)

  • Director of Specialized Committees (2)

  • Director of Crisis Committees (2)

INTERNAL BRANCH

  • Director of Logistics (1)

  • Director of Campus Relations (1)

  • Director of Delegate Experience (1)

EQUITY TEAM

  • Director of Equity (1)

  • Deputy Director of Equity (1)

Finance BRANCH

  • Financial Data Analyst (1)

For those applying for Director of General Assemblies, Director of ECOSOC & Regional Bodies, Director of Specialized Committees, or Director of Crisis Committees, this year you will be expected to include a document of committee ideas.

For those applying for Director of Communications, Director of Visual Strategy or Director of Design and Branding, this year you will be expected to submit a sample of your previous design work as requested in the application.
